FNUS75 KSLC 202025 FWSSLC Spot Forecast for Widemouth 2...Forest Service National Weather Service Salt Lake City UT 225 PM MDT Sun Sep 20 2026 Forecast is based on forecast start time of 0600 MDT on September 21. If conditions become unrepresentative...contact the National Weather Service. .DISCUSSION...Dry and stable conditions with light and diurnally driven winds will gradually transition into a more unstable pattern late Monday into Tuesday as an area of low pressure moves into the Great Basin. Showers and Thunderstorms will develop across southwestern Utah Monday evening and gradually move to the north through the day on Tuesday. These showers and storms will be moving from south to north at a pretty fast pace so that will limit flooding to areas that experience storms moving over the same area or under the heaviest storms that could produce .5-1"/hour rainfall rates. Gusty and erratic winds along with hail and frequent lightning will also be possible. Conditions will become more dry and stable overnight Tuesday into Wednesday as this low pushes off to the northeast. Mostly dry conditions will persist for the remainder of the week with moisture staying confined to southeastern Utah. .MONDAY... Sky/weather.........Partly cloudy (45-55 percent cloud cover).
