Some widely isolated showers will be possible during the morning hours, with increasing coverage and the development of some thunderstorms through the afternoon. While this activity will remain isolated to scattered in nature, any stronger thunderstorm over/near the event site will have potential for lightning, brief periods of moderate to heavy rain, and strong outflow wind gusts up to around 35-50 mph. As daytime heating wanes late in the day, anticipate activity to trend downward in both strength in coverage, generally after 9pm or so. Outside of the influence of aforementioned thunderstorms, expect initially light and somewhat variable winds in the morning to favor a southwesterly direction with modest gusts throughout the day, once again becoming light and fairly variable by late evening. .INDEPENDENCE DAY...
