For Thursday, anticipate isolated showers and thunderstorms to develop through the afternoon and evening hours. A few lingering showers will remain a possibility overnight. A similar forecast evolution is expected throughout Independence Day, with isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms developing from late morning onward throughout the day. Activity is expected to trend downwards in coverage and strength after around 9pm Friday. Any stronger activity over/near the event site will have the potential to result in lightning, brief periods of moderate to heavy rain, and gusty erratic outflow winds. In general, expect peak wind gusts from stronger outflow in the 35-50 mph range.
