.DISCUSSION...Today will be the last hot day to this heatwave.

There is a slight chance for storms this morning as moisture

increases. Thunderstorms are expected this afternoon especially 

after 1400 MDT. General winds are forecast to be southwest, but 

outflow winds will have variable wind directions, likely gusting 

30-40 mph, but higher gusts are possible with stronger storms.

Hail is also possible with stronger storms.  



Thunderstorm chances remain through tonight with a weak cold front

approaching. This front will either pass overnight or Thursday

morning with increased west winds. Thunderstorm chances increase 

Thursday afternoon along with increased chances for wetting rains.
