.DISCUSSION...Showers and thunderstorms are forecast to return

through the period as a weather system approaches. Isolated activity

may begin as early as Monday afternoon, then increasing coverage is

expected into the evening. Chances for thunderstorms continue on

Tuesday afternoon. The flooding threat is expected to be lower than

last week, however brief heavy rainfall is still possible through 

the period.

                    possible by the late afternoon
