A front will approach the state and then stall across the region Sunday 

through Tuesday. Pre-frontal showers will begin late Saturday night,

then increase throughout the day on Sunday. The best chances for heavy 

rain and isolated thunderstorms over Honolulu will be Sunday into Monday. 

Flooding cannot be ruled out in heaviest showers. Lingering frontal moisture

over the area through will keep a wetter forecast in place through at 

least mid-week. Southerly winds will prevail throughout this time.
