.DISCUSSION...

Areas of light rain or sprinkles are expected to develop this

afternoon, with more widespread rain developing near and east

of I-29 tonight through Tuesday. Rainfall amounts will remain

rather light tonight, but amounts may top a half inch in some

areas near to mainly east of I-29 tonight through Tuesday.



Temperatures look to be around to slightly below late October

normals much of this week, with dry conditions more prevalent

from Wednesday onward.

...MODERATE FIRE DANGER...



The Grassland Fire Danger Index will reach the moderate 

category this afternoon. Marginal weather conditions or 

lowering moisture content of grasses, and other dry organic 

material on the ground, indicate that there is some potential 

for a fire to spread. Any outdoor burning should be closely 

monitored.

will reach the high category.
