.DISCUSSION...

An area of low pressure along the east coast and a mid level trough 

slowly crossing the eastern Great Lakes will produce rain east of 

Lake Ontario today through early Saturday, with the western edge of 

the rain reaching into portions of the Finger Lakes later today 

through tonight. Meanwhile, Western NY will remain dry. High 

pressure will build east across the Great Lakes late Saturday 

through Sunday, with a return to dry weather areawide. Temperatures 

will remain cool today, then warm to near average for the weekend 

before much warmer air arrives by early next week.
