An isolated thunderstorm may be possible from the Raton Mesa, east along the New Mexico border this afternoon and early evening. Wind gusts near 50 mph will be the main thunderstorm risk. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday High fire danger is forecast along the Continental Divide for Thursday afternoon and evening due to gusty winds and low humidity. Spotty near critical fire weather conditions will be possible for mountain areas and the plains through the weekend. Temperatures will be hot beginning Friday and persisting into early next week. High temperatures on the plains will reach the mid 90s to lower 100s. Very isolated thunderstorm activity may be possible across the mountains each afternoon.
