The snow will diminish this evening. Scattered showers will move over the plains with a cold front this afternoon and evening, with an isolated thunderstorm possible. Brief heavy rain and wind gusts to 50 mph are possible. Outside of the showers, wind gusts of 30 to 40 mph can be expected behind the front, diminishing overnight. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday It will be windy again in some areas on Tuesday, with gusts of 30 to 40 mph over the eastern plains and the mountains ridges.
