POOR VISIBILITY. RISK...Limited to Elevated. AREA...River valleys of southeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. ONSET...Ongoing...ending shortly after sunrise. DISCUSSION... Fog has formed in some river valleys of southeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. This fog may be locally dense near the base of the valley. The fog will burn off shortly after sunrise this morning. SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT... Spotter Activation Not Expected. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday. FRIDAY through SUNDAY...Thunderstorm Potential. MONDAY...No Hazards. TUESDAY...Thunderstorm...High Wind Potential. WEDNESDAY...No Hazards. EXTENDED DISCUSSION... A band of thunderstorms is expected to form along an advancing cold front Friday afternoon across northeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. A few of these storms will likely become severe, with large hail and locally damaging winds the main threats. The band of storms will progress south into west-central Arkansas and southeast Oklahoma into the evening hours while likely weakening and completely dissipated by midnight Friday night. Storms are expected to develop Saturday afternoon over western Oklahoma and Kansas and then progress into northeast Oklahoma Saturday evening. These storms will carry a very limited severe risk. Additional storm development is possible over western Oklahoma Sunday morning, with this activity expected to move into eastern Oklahoma and possibly west-central Arkansas. These storms will also carry a very limited severe risk.
