	AREA...Much of Eastern Oklahoma.

	ONSET...Mid Afternoon and Again Late Tonight.



DISCUSSION...

Isolated to scattered areas of light rain along with a slight

chance of thunder are forecast into this evening across portions 

of eastern Oklahoma as an upper level disturbance moves over the 

region. Additional shower and thunderstorm chances develop late 

tonight into Thursday morning for much eastern Oklahoma, with the

greater potential across southeast Oklahoma. Weak flow aloft will

limit overall severe risk through tonight.

THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.



EXTENDED DISCUSSION...

Shower and thunderstorm chances are forecast Thursday for eastern

Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas, with weakening potential Thursday

night. Daily thunderstorm chances then continue Friday into the 

first half of next week. Locally heavy rainfall, gusty winds, and 

dangerous lightning will be the main threats from the storms.
