This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri

Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.



.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.



Weather hazards expected...



  Limited non thunderstorm wind risk.

  Significant fire weather risk.



DISCUSSION...



Relative humidity values in the 25-35% range with gusty 25-30 mph

winds will lead to elevated to significant fire weather 

conditions today especially along and west of Highway 65.



A cold front will come through later this afternoon bringing

northwesterly wind gusts up to 40 mph across the area. Winds stay

elevated through the rest of the evening.



.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.



A cold front is expected to push through the area Thursday

evening/night, leading to the next chances (35-60%) for 

precipitation. Showers and thunderstorms will be possible, however

uncertainties with this system still exist this far out.
