Illinois...northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana.

Weather hazards expected...



  Limited snow risk south of a line from Pontiac to Paxton. 



DISCUSSION...



Slippery travel conditions may occur on untreated roadways across

central Illinois as a clipper system moves through the broad

region. Snow accumulations of an inch or two may occur south of a

line from Pontiac to Paxton.

Friday night...

  Limited Excessive Cold Risk.

Saturday...

  Elevated Snow Risk, mainly south of I-80.

Saturday through early Monday morning...

  Elevated Excessive Cold Risk.



DISCUSSION...



Bitterly cold conditions are expected this weekend. The coldest

temperatures and wind chills are expected to occur Saturday

night into Sunday morning, when wind chills colder than 20 below 

zero are possible.



Another round of snow is likely in the broad region on Saturday,

currently favoring areas south of Interstate 80.
