This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,

South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.



.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight



Extreme grassland fire danger will continue across much of the area

due to gusty northerly winds behind a strong cold front. See the Red

Flag Warning for more details.



Northerly winds around 25 to 35 mph with gusts around 45 to 50 mph

will continue across the area this afternoon. See the Wind Advisory

for more details.



.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday



Very high fire danger may return as early as Wednesday and persist

into the weekend each afternoon. Extreme fire danger is possible 

Thursday afternoon.
