Through around 7 PM, elevated fire weather conditions will persist across our forecast area, due to the combination of north winds gusting at least 25 MPH, and relative humidity as low as 25-35 percent. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday. On Monday afternoon, near-critical fire weather conditions will return to much of our forecast area, due to the combination of south-southeast winds gusting at least 20-30 MPH, and relative humidity falling to as low as 20-25 percent. The overall-most- concerning combination of strongest winds and lowest relative humidity appears to favor our western-most counties of Dawson, Gosper, Furnas, Phillips and Rooks...where marginally-critical fire weather conditions cannot be ruled out. Each afternoon between Tuesday and Saturday, at least near- critical fire weather conditions appear likely within various portions of our forecast area...whenever there is an overlap of winds gusting at least 20 MPH, and relative humidity of 25 percent or lower. It is certainly possible that outright-critical conditions could develop on a few of these days, so later forecasts will need closely monitored in case more-concerning combinations of stronger winds and low relative humidity become apparent. && More information may be obtained at the following web page: https://www.weather.gov/hastings $$ Pfannkuch
