Dakota, west central and northwest Minnesota.

The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low.



.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday



There is a level 1 out of 5 risk for severe thunderstorms on

Friday the Fourth of July. The main hazards will be hail to the 

size of quarters, gusty winds to 60 mph, and flash flooding.



Heat related impacts may occur as heat indices approach 100 in 

the Red River Valley Friday the Fourth of July.

There is a level 2 out of 5 risk for severe thunderstorms late 

Thursday night into early Friday morning. Main hazards will be 

hail to the size of ping pong balls and gusts to 60 mph.



Additional severe thunderstorms capable of gusty winds, hail, and

flash flooding are forecast during the afternoon into evening 

Friday the Fourth of July. There is a level 1 out of 5 risk for

severe storms during this period.



Heat related impacts may occur as heat indices approach 100 in 

the Red River Valley Friday the Fourth of July.
