This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Lake Superior

and the Nearshore waters of western Lake Superior.



.DAY ONE...Tonight



Southeast winds near Grand Marais and Grand Portage will increase

to 15 to 20 knots with gusts of 20 to 25 knots tonight. Winds may

veer southwesterly near the shore. Waves will build to 3 to 5 

feet. This will create conditions hazardous to smaller vessels. A 

Small Craft Advisory is in effect tonight.



.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday



Strong southeast to southwest winds from Grand Marais to Grand 

Portage will persist Tuesday and subside by Tuesday evening. A 

Small Craft Advisory remains in effect through Tuesday afternoon.
