This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast

Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.



.DAY ONE...Tonight



Dangerous wind chills are expected to develop across the 

Arrowhead, North Central Minnesota, and Northwest Wisconsin this 

evening and persist through the night. A Cold Weather Advisory is 

in effect. Strong winds along the North Shore could approach 

advisory criteria, making travel difficult for high-profile 

vehicles.



.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday



From Saturday through Sunday, the dangerously cold air mass will 

remain over the region. The Cold Weather Advisory continues 

through Sunday morning, with wind chills dipping as low as 40 

degrees below zero. Try to limit time outdoors if you are not

bundled up and cover exposed skin.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Lake Superior

and the Nearshore waters of western Lake Superior.



.DAY ONE...Tonight



Gale force winds are expected along the North Shore of Lake 

Superior tonight, creating hazardous waves along the South Shore.

Heavy freezing spray is likely along the South Shore and Apostle 

Islands, which can rapidly destabilize vessels. Small Craft 

Advisories cover the remaining nearshore waters.



.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday



For the weekend, gale force gusts should diminish by Saturday 

morning, but strong winds and freezing spray will keep conditions 

hazardous for small craft through Sunday. Mariners should expect 

high waves and ice accumulation on vessels to persist into the 

weekend.
