Pockets of light snow are possible during the overnight hours across the region, but any additional accumulations are expected to be less than an inch. Northwest winds will increase overnight (20-35 mph gusts) and bring patchy blowing and drifting snow, especially for areas that received snowfall on Thursday. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday. For Friday afternoon/night through Saturday, a general 2 to 5 inches of snowfall are forecast across central/south central SD, with lesser amounts further east across northeast SD and west central MN. Very cold air will move in Friday through Sunday, with the coldest temperatures Sunday morning with lows in the teens below to near 20 degrees below zero.
