This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north and central Georgia.



.DAY ONE...Tonight...



A few rumbles of thunder may be possible tonight across north and

central Georgia as a steady rain moves into the area from the

south. Severe weather is not anticipated through the rest of the 

night.



.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday...



Rain showers and thunderstorms will continue in Georgia between

Saturday and Wednesday. A couple of strong to severe storms could

occur during this period, however the risk of severe weather on

any given day remains low at this time. Rainfall totals between 1

and 3 inches are expected by Wednesday, with isolated amounts in

the 4 to 5 inch range. If this rainfall materializes a couple of

local rivers could climb above flood stage.
