Scattered thunderstorms will remain possible in east central Georgia through 8 AM this morning. The storms could produce dime to quarter size hail and wind gusts in the 30 to 50 mph range. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday... Additional isolated thunderstorm activity is expected in Georgia this afternoon. A couple of strong to severe storms could occur between 3 PM and 9 PM. The primary hazards would be dime to quarter size hail and isolated downbursts with wind gusts in the 40 to 50 mph range. Rain showers and thunderstorms will continue in Georgia between Saturday and Wednesday. A couple of strong to severe storms could occur during this period, however the risk of severe weather on any given day remains low at this time. Rainfall totals between 1 and 3 inches are expected by Wednesday, with isolated amounts in the 4 to 5 inch range.
