This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Maine, west 

central Maine, western Maine and northern New Hampshire.



.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.



A slow-moving low pressure is expected to bring widespread rainfall 

to the area through Saturday and could be heavy at times. Rainfall 

amounts of 1 to 2 inches are currently forecast with amounts 

potentially reaching 2 to 3 inches in some areas. This could lead to 

nuisance flooding of low-lying and poor drainage areas as well as 

smaller streams. Mainstem rivers are also expected to rise.
