This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Maine, south central Maine, 

southwest Maine, western Maine, central New Hampshire and southern 

New Hampshire.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.



A slow-moving low pressure is expected to bring widespread rainfall 

to the area Friday into Saturday and could be heavy at times. 

Rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are currently forecast with 

amounts potentially reaching 2 to 3 inches in some areas. Given the 

saturated soils from the wet pattern lately, this could lead to

minor flooding of low-lying and poor drainage areas as well as 

smaller streams. Mainstem rivers are also expected to rise with 

localized minor flooding possible.
