* At 10:00 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 9.9 feet.

* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

* Bankfull stage is 9.0 feet.

* Caution stage is 9.0 feet.

* Forecast:  The river is expected to continue its gradual recession

  eventually dropping below caution levels by Saturday morning.
