After isolated showers and thunderstorms Thursday evening, dry

conditions have returned with clear skies. Temperatures in the 50s

are common across much of the Heartland. Quiet conditions will 

continue into the daytime hours today with high temperatures 

ranging from the mid 70s across southeast Kansas to the low 80s 

across northern Kansas. Another quiet night is expected tonight 

with light winds and temperatures in the 40s and 50 across mid- 

America.
