Temperatures across the central plains this afternoon are

generally in the 80s and 90s. A low chance of a couple of isolated

showers exists across portions of far southern and southeast

Kansas this afternoon and evening, but the rest of the region

should remain dry. Tonight, lows will dip into the 60s and low

70s.



For Thursday, afternoon highs rise into the 80s and 90s once

again with a slight chance for a couple of showers across far

southern and southeast Kansas. Additional low chances for showers

and storms are forecast for portions of northwest Kansas and

western Nebraska late Thursday night into Friday morning. Lows

Thursday night will drop into the 60s and low 70s.
