Overnight lows are expected to range from the teens below zero in the northern Red River Valley to the upper 20s in southwest Montana. Above normal temperatures are anticipated for most areas through the rest of the week, especially in western and southern portions of the region. Thursday looks to be the warmest day when highs could approach 60 degrees in parts of eastern Montana and the western Dakotas. Light wintry precpitation returns to the forecast Tuesday afternoon and evening, moving from north to south across the region. The rest of the week is expected to remain mostly dry. $$
