Here is a look at the weather features that will affect the region

over the next several days.



Broad high pressure will retreat northward into Quebec today. One 

area of low pressure will pass south of the area and off the 

southeast coast tonight into Tuesday, with the greatest chance of

showers mainly south of Washington DC. More widespread rain 

chances are forecast Wednesday and Thursday as low pressure 

ejects out of the Tennessee River Valley into the Mid-Atlantic 

region. High pressure will build south of the area Friday into

Saturday, but another disturbance may quickly approach from the

northwest the second half of the weekend.
