A cold front will slowly pull away to the southeast today, while low pressure tracks up toward the Upper Mid-Atlantic coast. Temperatures remain below average with rain showers gradually coming to an end by early this evening. Abundant high pressure arrives on Saturday before a secondary cold front moves through on Sunday morning. Thereafter, high pressure returns into early next week which maintains a period of dry weather. A slow moving area of low pressure will move up from the Deep South on Tuesday through Thursday. This brings additional chances for rain across the area. $$
