Mostly cloudy to overcast skies with intermittent snow showers and

flurries will persist through early tonight across Pennsylvania.

Little to no snowfall accumulation is expected for much of the

Commonwealth, except for localized accumulations of around one- 

half of an inch across the Northwest Mountains and Laurel 

Highlands. 



High temperatures today will range from the 20s across the

Northern and Western Mountains of the state, to the low and mid

30s in the Susquehanna Valley. 



Tonight, a weak cold front will push southeastward across the 

state, with clearing skies and falling temperatures in its wake. 

Lows tonight will be in the single digits over the Northwest two- 

thirds of the state, and low to mid teens in the Lower Susquehanna

Valley and southeastern corner of the state.



For the rest of the week, statewide temperatures will be more 

seasonable than those of last week, yet still below seasonal 

averages.



The chance for a more widespread light snow event is expected on 

Friday, followed by a return to well below normal temperatures and

sub-zero wind chills Friday night through Sunday night.
