This weather feature will be followed by increasing clouds and some flurries and scattered snow showers overnight tonight, which will be confined mainly to the Western Mountains of the state. A slight warming trend is expected for the first half of the week; however, temperatures will remain below seasonal averages for the beginning of February. A weak surface low and upper level disturbance will brush Southern PA with some light snow Tuesday afternoon and night. However, any accumulations will be light. The next shot of more widespread light snow is expected to arrive on Friday, followed by a return to well below normal temperatures and windy conditions with sub-zero nighttime wind chills for the weekend. $$
